Chocolate Cake


1.Eggs :- 4
2.Icing sugar :- 1 bowl
3.Maida (refined flour) :-1 bowl
4.Vanilla essence :- 5 -6 drops
5.Chocolate syrup :-  for flavor and cream
6.Fresh cream :- 1 bowl
7. Butter :- 5-6 tsp (and for greasing the pan)
8.Grated chocolate :- 1/2 bowl
9. Gems cadbury :- 1 pack

In a bowl put eggs and sugar,beat them well.Then into this add maida, 2 tsp chocolate syrup,vanilla essence and 3 tsp butter.Mix well.And make a fine paste.
Now take a baking pan and do greasing with butter.Sprinkle few dry maida in it and  spread the batter and give the pan a few good shakes to remove any air pockets that might remain.

he first thing that you need to do in preparing your cake is to set your oven to 180°C, 350°F or gas mark.
Now put the cake into the oven (pre heat oven to 180°C) and allow it to bake or on gas flame (take tava and put mud lair on it then put cake pan on it).

Test the cake to see it is ready. Insert a wooden skewer into the center of the cake. The cake is ready when the skewer comes out free of
Once the cake is totally cooled, take a sharp knife and run it around the outside of the cake.It will take approximately 1 hour on gas flame.

For the fudge frosting, heat cream until it just begins to boil.Take it off the heat and add 50g butter,2 tsp chocolate syrup.Let it be cool on room temperature.

Apply this frosting on cake and decorate with gems and chocolate.



   KarjiKai (Karanji)



  1. Mava(milk solids)-100gms
  2. Rava(semolina)-1/3 cup
  3. Ghee (for the dough)1tsp
  4. Powdered sugar-1/4 cup
  5. Powdered elaichi-1/2 tsp
  6. Badam(almond) chopped-2
  7.  Pista(Pistachio) chopped-1
  8. Nutmeg-1/4tsp
  9. Maida-1 1/2 cup
  10. Ghee-for frying

     For the garnish:-

  1. Sugar-1/2 cup
  2. Saffron colour
  3. Silver warq


  • Roast mava in a kadai for 3-4 min.
  • Roast rava separately till it turns light brown.
  • When it cools,mix with powdered sugar,elaichi,almonds,pistachio and nutmeg and add roasted mava to it.Mix well.
  • Take maida and knead it into medium dough adding one tbsp ghee to it.Divide this dough into 30 equal portions.
  • Roll out each portion into a small circle.Stuff it with the mava mixture and shape it into the form of karanjis.Make more such karanjis.
  • Heat ghee in a kadai and deep fry the karanjis till they turn golden brown.
  • For the garnish,make sugar syrup of one-string consistency with one-third cup of water.Add saffron colour.Arrange the karanjis on a sieve and pour the syrup on it.Decorate with silver warq and serve.

Pista Barfi

Chitale-Pista burfi-big

Pista powder-150gms
Pista colour-a few drops
Powdered cardamom-1tsp
Saffron strands-a few
Warq(silver foil)-for garnish

1.Mix one-third cup of water with sugar and pista colour.
Boil it to make sugar syrup of one-string consistency.
2.Add pista powder,saffron strands and powdered cardamom to syrup,Mix well.
3.Place the mixture evenly on a greased tray.Garnish with silver foil.
4.Cut diamond-shaped pieces of the mixture after a few mintues.Your pista barfi is ready.
